BuildOps Raises $5.8M

Los Angeles-based BuildOps, a developer of software that provides business process management for subcontractors in the commercial real estate market, has raised $5.8M in a seed funding round. The funding was led by Fika Ventures, and also included MetaProp VC, Global Founders Capital, CrossCut Ventures, TenOneTen, IGSB, 1984 Ventures, Joe Montana's venture capital firm, L2 Ventures, GroundUp, NBA star Metta World Peace, Oberndorf Enterprises, Wolfson Group, and Sequoia scouts. The company develops software that it says provides scheduling, dispatch, inventory, agreements, gated workflow, accounting, and other business functionality. The company's founders are Alok Chanani, Steve Chew, and Neeraj Mittal.
