ZipRecruiter Expands Board With GoDaddy, LinkedIn, Facebook Execs

Los Angeles-based ZipRecruiter, which operates an artificial intelligence-driven online employment marketplace, has named three new, high profile board members, the company said last week. According to ZipRecruiter, it has added GoDaddy's Black Irving, Facebook's Cipora Herman, and LinkedIn's Emilie Choi to its board of directors. Irving was most recently CEO of GoDaddy, and also served at Microsoft and Yahoo, and sits on the board of Docusign. Herman was Vice President of Finance and Treasurer during Facebook's IPO, was CFO of the San Francisco 49ers, and also is on the board of MINDBODY. Choi is currently VP of Corporate and Business Development at Coinbase, and was previously VP of Corporate Development at LinkedIn, and helped oversee the acquisition of Lynda.com, and also sits on the board of Naspers. Ian Siegel is CEO of ZipRecruiter. The company is rumored to be in the midst of prepping for an IPO, which the board announcement would seem to support. The company just raised a $156M funding round in October.
