Skyworks Gets Design Win With Nordic Semiconductor

Irvine-based analog semiconductor developer Skyworks has scored a design win with Nordic Semiconductor, a developer of wireless communications products, the company announced this morning. Skyworks said its family of fully-integrated front-ends, plus their multi-protocol system-on-chip (SoC) for Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) and Bluetooth 5 are being used by Nordic for its internet-of-things (IoT) devices. Shipment volumes and financial impact of the win were not announced.
