Amgen Licenses Rights To Multiple Myeloma Drug

Thousand Oaks-based Amgen and Boehringer Ingelheim said on Thursday that Amgen has acquired the global development and commercial rights for an immuno-oncology drug for treating multiple myeloma. The two said Amgen acquired the rights from Boehringer Ingelheim for BI 836909 (AMG 420), a bispecific T cell engager (BiTE) that targets B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA), a potential target for multiple myeloma.

SpaceX Rocket Explodes In Florida

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket has exploded on a launchpad at Cape Canaveral in Florida at 9am ET, during test firing of a mission that was set to launch on Saturday.
