Acorns Names Chief Investment Officer

Irvine-based investment app developer Acorns said this morning that it has appointed its first Chief Investment Officer. According to the company, it has named Seth Wunder, CFA, to the position, ahead of its expected public listing. Wunder previously was at black-and-white Capital, and also served at Contour Asset Management, and got his start at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Acorns said Wunder will help lead the team to develop and introduce new and more sophisticated investment opportunities, including the ability to customize portfolios by adding individual stocks and cryptocurrencies into diversified portfolios.
