Qualcomm, Lenovo Launch Snapdragon Powered PC

San Diego-based Qualcomm, and PC maker Lenovo have rolled out the first PC powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon processors, the two said over the weekend. Qualcomm and Lenovo said they have rolled out a new "5G PC" which uses Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8cx 5G compute platform, Qualcomm's new Snapdragon chip specifically aimed at being used to power PCs. The new laptop, lauched at Computex Taipei 2019, integrates 5G connectivity into the laptop, using Qualcomm's X55 5G modem and Qualcomm's RF front end.
