Axiom Materials Acquired By Kordsa

Santa Ana-based Axiom Materials, a provider of advanced composite manufacturing and development, has been acquired by Kordsa, a Turkish company which focuses on composite materials and other areas. Financial terms of the buy were not announced. Axiom Materials said it will continue to operate under its existing trade name and business partnerships after the acquisition. Axiom Materials was backed by private equity investor Sorenson Capital, and was founded in 2016 in a recapitalization deal with Sorenson. The companies said Sorenson will exit its position in Axiom Materials as a result of the acquisition.
