SpaceX To Launch Cargo For NASA On Monday

The next launch for Hawthorne-based SpaceX is planned for Monday, in what NASA says will be the ninth Commercial Resupply Services mission for the agency to the International Space Station. According to NASA, SpaceX will be launchign its Dragon spacecraft with materials for the orbiting laboratory and crew, including a giant, metallic ring. The ring is designed to help connect the ISS to other spacecraft, as they deliver astronauts to the station in the future.

Beverly Hills-based STARZ is broadening its distribution channels, saying on Wednesday that it has added support for Roku for its existing subscribers. According to STARZ, the support allows its subscribers to watch both its original series, as well as movies and first run films on Roku's media players and Roku TV. STARZ said users can sign up for its service directly through the STARZ App on Roku, at a cost of $8.99 per month.

Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research (MJFF). The funding--which came in the form of a grant--will go towards using its technology to discover and develop brain-permeable drug candidates for treating Parkinson's disease.
