Techstars Los Angeles Launches 2019 Class

Techstars Los Angeles, one of the startup accelerators run by Techstars in Los Angeles, has announced its 2019 class. According to Techstars, ten companies were selected for the startup accelerator, which kicked off this week. The companies will have their Demo Day on October 15th. According to Techstars, the companies in the Los Angeles class this year include AlgoPay, a peer-to-peer financial network for the unbanked in the Middle East; DASH Systems, focused on aerial logistics and cargo; Fabrica, real estate buying and selling tools; findSisterhood, an anonymous social network for women; Finli, a service which helps family and friends contribute to child expenses like tuition, after-school care and camp; Fly by Jing, all-natural Chinese food; Liquid, HR and finance software; LunarCRUSH, AI and machine learning for cryptocurrency news; Manatee, help for families raising children with behavioral or developmental disorders; and Riders Share, a peer-to-peer motorcycle rental and sharing marketplace. Techstars Los Angeles said that eight of the ten companies are based in the greater Los Angeles area; the effort in LA is led by Anna Barber.
