Scopely Expands Team In Europe

Los Angeles-based mobile games developer Scopely said on Tuesday that it is expanding its team, by opening up new offices in Spain and Ireland. Scopely said it is opening up a new, 26,000 square foot office in Sarria-Sant Gervasi in Barcelona, an expansion from its earlier 7,000 square feet office in the city it opened in 2017. In addition, Scopely said it will be expanding an office in Dublin. The company also has been expanded at its home office in LA, with plans to move into a new, 60,000 square foot building here, doubling its physical space in LA. Scopely is in Deublin due to its recent acquisition of game studio DIGIT, which works on Scopely's Star Trek Fleet Command title. Scopely announced its Los Angeles expansion plans in April, at 8888 Washington.
