Semtech Gets Design Win In Korea

Camarillo-based Semtech reported a design win with its 12G UHD-SDI products, as part of a UHDTV Broadast Encoder with DS Broadcast. Shipping volumes and financial impact of the win was not announced. Semtech said that DS Broadcast is using its 12G UHDSDI Gearbox, retiming equalizer, retiming cable driver and 3G long-reach equalizer in its design.
