Avery Dennison Jumps Into Internet Of Things With Clothing Deal

Pasadena-based Avery Dennison --best known for its paper products, labels, and packaging--is jumping into the Internet of Things, with a big deal to place "Internet-of-Things" sensors on apparel. The company said it has inked a deal with startup Evrythng, to create 10 billion pieces of apparel with built-in Internet sensors and identifiers.
