Carlsbad-based satellite communications provider ViaSat said Friday that its yearly revenues grew to $588.2M, as it has seen growth across its government, U.S. fixed broadband, and commercial aviation business. The company, which both develops satellite communications equipment as well as operates its own satellite networking service, said the results reflected a 6 percent year over year growth in its business. The company said its Satellite Services businesses grew 19 percent, and its Government Systems unit had 17 percent growth. ViaSat's businesses also include WildBlue, a satellite broadband service that uses the Ka-band.
