Venice-based Snapchat , the high flying, high profile startup led by Evan Spiegel, is planning an IPO, according to Spiegel, who talked about the company's IPO plans at a conference on Tuesday. Spiegel said that an "IPO is really important" to the company. Spiegel did not give a timeframe for any IPO effort.
