RepairSmith Offers Up Free Car Repairs For Workers Hit By Outbreak

Los Angeles-based mobile automobile repair startup RepairSmith says it is donating $100,000 in free car repair services, to people who are experiencing hardship due to the COVID-19 virus outbreak. The company--which offers up at-home or at-work auto repair services--says individuals can receive up to $500 in repair and maintenance services to keep their car safe and operating during this critical time period. The car repairs area available in California and Las Vegas. According to RepairSmith, its offer is available to government workers, service workers, delivery drivers, healthcare professionals, employees of grocery stores and pharmacies, volunteers and others who require the use of a functioning car, in locations where RepairSmith currently operates. RepairSmith is led by CEO Joel Milne. The company said that it is also actively hiring new technicians and trying to ramp up its fleet services for businesses, making it easier for car owners to get service at their home.
