Ignyta Names New GM

San Diego-based biotechnology developer Ignyta said this morning that it hass named Igor Bilinsky, Ph.D., as its new General Manager, Immuno-Oncology and Senior Vice President, Special Operations. Bilinsky joins from Vical Incorporate, where he had been Senior Vice President, Corporate Development. Bilinsky also served at Halozyme, Androclus Therapeutics, and Boston Consulting Group.

Santa Monica-based SolarReserve , the developer of utility-scale solar power projects, reported Wednesday that it has received an award from the U.S. Department of Energy, to develop advanced concentrating solar technology.
