Alteryx Names Snags Marketing, Sales Execs From LifeLock, Tableau

Irvine-based data analytics software developer Alteryx said yesterday that it has named Seth Greenberg as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), and Scott Jones as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). The company, which is backed by Iconiq Capital, Insight Venture Partners, and Meritech Capital Partners, said that Greenberg joins from LifeLock, where he also was CMO; he also has served at Intuit, serving as Vice President of Intuit QuickBooks.

San Diego-based TakeLessons , which operates an online marketplaceto connect users with instructors in such areas as singing, piano, guitar, Spanish, and other areas, said this week that it has launched a new service called TakeLessons Live. The new service provides unlimited, live online group classes, via a monthly subscription. The company did not release pricing, but said the cost provides 200 online lessons a month, for less than 10 cents a class.
