However, for years, it hasn't been able to talk about the work it does with its technology. Santa Monica-based VideoAmp , a developer of programmatic video advertising software, said Friday that it has opened up offices in New York, Chicago, and Detroit, and also has hired a new VP to head up its eastern region sales. VideoAmp said the New York office will be led by Amy McGovern, who has been appointed VP of Strategic Sales, to head up the company's eastern region; McGovern was most recently Vice President of Digital Video Ad Sales at Fox Networks Group, and also had served at GroupM.

Fandango Buys Brazilian Online Ticket Firm, Ingresso

Los Angeles-based online movie ticketing and information site Fandango said Friday morning that it has acquired Ingresso , Brazil's largest online ticketing firm. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Ingresso was previously owned by B2W Companhia Digital. Ingresso is based in Rio de Janeiro. Fandango said it was advised by The Raine Group and G5 Evercore in the deal.
