Los Angeles-based TenOnTen Ventures , the venture capital investor founded by David Waxman and Gil Elbaz, has found $13.18M in commitments for a new venture fund, from 21 different investors, according to a regulatory filing by the fund. Details on the new fund--which is still in the midst of fundraising--have not yet been announced by the investment firm.

Surf Air Expecting 12th Aircraft

Los Angeles-based Surf Air , which operates a membership-based, all-you-can-fly air service between Los Angeles, Silicon Valley, and a number of other regional destinations popular with technology and venture capital executives, is telling its prospective customers that it is set to receive its twelfth Pilatus PC-12 aircraft in the next day or so. Irvine-based disk drive and storage maker Western Digital Corporation has received a massive, $3.775 billion equity investment from Chinese company Unisplendour Corporation Limited , which will give Unisplendour a 15 percent stake in the company. According to Western Digital, Unispendour (Unis) will purchase newly issued Western Digital common stock at a price of $92.50 per share for the stake.
