WhiteFox Finds $12M More For Drone Security, Defense

San Luis Obispo-based WhiteFox, which develops tools to defend against hostile drones and help manage drone airspace, has raised $12M more in a Series A funding round, the company announced this morning. According to WhiteFox, it has now raised a total of $26M. The new funding round included Moore Venture Partners, Serra Ventures, Okapi Venture Capital, SaaS Venture Capital, and JAM Capital. WhiteFox says it has been looking to deploy its systems at such areas as prisons, power generation, and defense. The startup is led by founder and CEO Luke Fox. White Fox says that its systems work with a wide variety of drones, at the protocol level, allowing it to detect and mitigate most drones on the market.
