Rocket Lab Acquires Advanced Solutions

Long Beach-based space launch provider Rocket Lab said on Tuesday that it has acquired Advanced Solutions, Inc., a Colorado-based aerospace engineering which provides space software, mission simulation and test systems. According to Rocket Lab, it is paying $40M for the company, with a potential for an additional $5.5M in earnout. The companies said that Advanced Solutions's spacecraft flight software has been used across more than 45 spacecraft for aerospace prime contractors, the U.S. Air Force, U.S. DOD organizations, NASA, and commercial spacecraft developers.
