MomentFeed Names Chief Marketing Officer

Santa Monica-based MomentFeed, which develops software that helps national brands manage their location-based information, such as information about their network of retail stores, has named Jim D'Arcangelo as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Head of Business Development. D'Arcangelo was already serving on MomentFeed's board of directors. MomentFeed said that D'Arcangelo has been working in local marketing for more than 25 years. The company did not say what firms D'Arcangelo has been working for, however, it appears from his LinkedIn profile that he has been working as Acting Marketing Head, Acting Vice President of Marketing for startups for the past few years, and previously was SVP Marketing at Booker.com, which was acquired by San Luis Obispo-based Mindbody; he also had served at such companies as Greener Expressions; Caliper; Aria Systems; and Global Crossing, among others. The appointment comes as the CEO post at MomentFeed went to Nick Hedges, a veteran of Southern California's high tech market, who last was CEO of Velocify.
