ResMed Names New Board Member

San Diego-based ResMed, which provides patient monitoring devices and healthcare software, said Tuesday that it has named Harjit Gill to its board of directors. Gill is currently an advisor to Delmedica Investments, a company focused on respiratory health, and also previously had been Executive Vice president and CEO of Philips ASEAN & Pacific, in addition to serving in many other roles in Philips Consumer Electronics businesses worldwide. Gill replaces Gary W. Pace, who has retired from ResMed's board; Pace had been on the company's board since 1994.
