TenOneTen Ventures Adds Shift Co-Founder As Venture Partner

Los Angeles-based venture investor TenOneTen Ventures, the venture firm co-founded by David Waxman and Gil Elbaz, has just added the co-founder of car marketplace Shift, Minnie Ingersoll, as a Venture Partner. Ingersoll was previously at Code for America, and prior to co-founding Shift, was at Google for more than 11 years. TenOneTen is an investor in companies such as HiHello, Ordermark, Crexi, Beauty By Design, TrueAccord, and many others; the firm tends to invest in data- and software-heavy startups. Prior to TenOneTen, Waxman was an angel investor, having co-founded such companies as SpotRunner, PeoplePC (acquired by Earthlink in 2002); and FireFly (acquired by Microsoft in 1998). Elbaz co-founded Applied Semantics, which was acquired for pre-IPO stock by Google to create Google AdSense.
