Connect Up Rolls Out COVID Safety Device

Irvine-basd Connect Up Technologies announced this morning that it has launched a new, physical device--called SafeDistance--to help employees returning to work to help mitigate infection risk. The company said the new device both provides a report of other devices it has come into contact with, for contact tracing, and also can provide alerts when physical distancing parameters are violated, things that are not available on smartphone apps. Cost of the device and service were not announced by the company. Connect Up Technologies is CEO led Ognjen (Ogi) Grba.
