Viasat Shuffles Execs

Carlsbad-based satellite communications and equipment provider Viasat is shuffling its top executives, saying late yesterday that its CEO, Mark Dankberg, will become Executive Chairman of the company, shifting away from his CEO role. Rick Baldrige, currently the company's President and Chief Operating Officer, will become Viasat's President and CEO. The company described the moves as an "evolution" of how the company has been operating for the past several years.
