TeleSign Wins Deal In France

Los Angeles-based mobile identity and authentication provider TeleSign reported on Tuesday that it has inked a partnership in France, with Bouygues Telecom. According to TeleSign, it will help Bouygues Telecom to protect its users from online fraud activities. Financial impact of the deal were not announced. TeleSign said the expansion of its services will help protect against such seurity issues as account takeover (ATO) through SIM swaps and synthetic identity fraud. TeleSign powers many two factor authentication services for major websites and online cloud services--those phone calls and text messages you might receive as a part of logging into those services.
