Romeo Power Reports Win With PACCAR

Los Angeles-based battery developer Romeo Power reports that it has scored a win with PACCAR, a manufacturer of high-quality light-, medium- and heavy-duty trucks under the Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF nameplates. According to Romeo Power, it has signed a deal to battery packs, modules and battery management systems (BMS) for PACCAR's battery electric vehicles (BEVs). The company said its battery sytems will be used for Peterbilt 579 and 520 Battery-Electric Vehicles. Financial details of the deal were not announced. The company said start of production is anticipated to begin after 2021.
