Tesla Plans World's Largest Supercharger Station At Harris Ranch

Travelers between Southern and Northern California driving Tesla electric vehicles will soon have another reason to stop at Harris Ranch Inn and Restaurant, besides the steaks, after Tesla Motors applied to install more than 100 Supercharger stalls at the popular I-5 stopover point. According to Harris Ranch Inn and Restaurant--located on the vast Harris Ranch, where cows are prepared before being sent to meat processing plants--the location will be the world's largest Supercharger, with stalls available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The location is best known to passing I-5 drivers by the smell of cattle and availability of fuel; Harris Ranch says it can host as many as 120,000 heads of cattle at once at the finishing site there.
