Semtech Gets Design Win With YoSmart

Camarillo-based analog and mixed-signal semiconductor provider Semtech Corporation has scored a design win for its LoRa wireless products, saying this week that YoSmart will use its LoRa devices in a new line of Internet of Things (IoT) products. Semtech said YoSmart will use LoRa in its YoLink product line, which connect a variety of home applications, including doors, security systems, electrical outlets, and water piping to accurately monitor data in real time. Shipment volumes and financial impact of the win were not announced.
