Lawsuit Against Kingston Goes To Jury Trial

A $15M lawsuit against Fountain Valley-based Kingston Technology has gone to jury trial, with a company, Pavo Solutions LLC, seeking $15M in damages for what it says is patent infringement on a design for a swiveling USB flash memory cover. According to a report from Law360, Pavo Solutions claims Kingston made "tens of millions of dollars in profits and $233 million in sales" from the USB flash memory device which uses the swiveling cover. Pavo Solutions is based in South Korea.
