Zubican Acquired By Inuvo

Los Angeles-based Zubican , an online business-to-business marketplace, has been acquired by Inuvo, a Florida-based provider of performance-based online marketing services, Inuvo announced Monday. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Zubican was backed by $1.3M in seed funding from the Tech Coast Angels and Pasadena Angels. Inuvo said it will pay a royalty based on a percentage of the gross profit derived from Zubican's site over a four-year period.

Hulu Gains In Online Video In October

The latest numbers out of Internet research firm comScore finds that Los Angeles-based Hulu , the online video streaming site, is rising rapidly in traffic, and has just hit 855 million video views, up significantly from the 583 million views it saw in September. The site now accounts for 3.1 percent of video views online. Google/YouTube continues to lead in video views, with 37.7 percent of the share of video views this month.
