Allied Esports Lands Deal With TV Azteca For Latin American Gears League

Irvine-based e-sports programming provider Allied Esports and Mexican television producer TV Azteca said this morning that the two have entered into an alliance, where Azteca Esports will broadcast the Gears 5 Pro League in Latin America. Financial details of the deal were not announced. According to the two, October 28, Azteca Esports will produce live, weekly coverage of the four-team Latin America region, including a live finale on November 25 at TV Azteca Studios in Mexico City. The new esports league is based on the Gears of War title. TV Azteca made an investment in Allied Esports in June.
