Insightful Science Acquires nQuery

San Diego-based Insightful Science said this morning that it has acquired Statsols, which develops clinical trial design software nQuery. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Insightful Science said the buy will help it build its portfolio of scientific software solutions. Insightful Science said that nQuery covers all phases of clinical trails, I - IV, and is being used by more than 50,000 researchers from around the world. Insightful Science has been active recently with other acquisitions--in May, it acquired another software company, Cytapex.
