SpaceX Launches 60 More Starlink Satellites Into Space

Hawthorne-based SpaceX successfully launched sixty more of its Starlink satellites on Wednesday evening, with another launch and landing from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. The launch, which took place at 9:25 p.m. EDT, used a Falcon 9 rocket which previously had been launched multiple times--including the Telstar 18 VANTAGE mission in September 2018, the Iridium-8 mission in January 2019, and two separate Starlink missions in May 2019 and in January 2020. SpaceX is planning on deploying thousands of its Starlink satellites to provide high speed, broadband access across the globe.
