Cubic Wins Air Force Contract

San Diego-based Cubic Corporation announced this morning that it has scored a win with the U.S. Air Force (USAF), to develop a data radio for the USAF. According to Cubic, the award went to its Cubic Mission Solutions (CMS) business division, for delivery of a Small Form Factor (SFF) Radio prototype for the Data Link Enterprise (DLE). The size of the contract was not announced. The company said the component is used for providing ground-to-air and air-to-ground communications. Cubic provides engineering and technology services for the defense, transportation, and other sectors.
