The newly established esports division of media services and video publishing house Bent Pixels landed two new clients as 2019 drew to a close.

Koreatown-based esports team operator SoloMid Corp., doing business as TeamSoloMid, agreed to buy content monetization and management aid from Bent Pixels.

So did OpTic Gaming, an esports brand owned by Infinite Sports & Entertainment, which was acquired by Culver City-based esports team owner Immortals in June for $100 million.

“These franchises need to diversify content distribution and syndication, administer network operations, traffic premium media inventory for brands, and monetize at scale,” Bent Pixels Chief Executive Mike Pusateri said in a statement.

The esports organizations linking with Bent Pixels compete in West L.A.-based game publisher Riot Games’ “League of Legends” Championship Series tournament, which begins its first split Jan. 24.

Bent Pixels operates from a headquarters in Las Vegas and an office in Culver City. The company launched in 2009 and opened its esports division in early 2019.
