Semtech Wins Design For Art Tracking

Camarillo-based analog and mixed-signal semiconductor developer Semtech says its wireless LoRa products are being used for tracking art and museum objects, as part of a new product from a company called Conserv. according to Semtech, Conserv has developed an Internet-of-Things (IoT) application which uses its LoRa devices and its LoRaWAN protocol, which helps museums and exhibitions track museum and art collections. Semtech said the solution helps overcome the extensive wiring needs and inability of Wi-Fi to cover large areas with connectivity.
