Boingo To Power Indoors Wireless For Verizon 5G

Los Angeles-based Boingo Wireless, which provides Wi-Fi, small-cell, and distributed antenna systems (DAS), will help power indoor 5G wireless services for Verizon, the two companies said on Thursday. According to Verizon, it is working with Boingo to provide 5G Ultra Widebamd services to such areas like airports, stadiums and arenas, office buildings, and hotels. Financial details of the deal were not announced. Verizon said the move is part of its effort at ongoing 5G network expansion.
