DocStoc's License123.com Makes Business Licenses Easier, In LA

License123, the business licensing information site operated by Docstoc.com, is looking to make it easier for businesses in the City of Los Angeles to apply for the city, county, and state permitting paperwork for various kinds of businesses. According to LA Councilmember Eric Garcetti, people can now visit his website and gain access to the service, where businesses can apply for the relevant businesses licenses for free in Los Angeles. License123 is the brainchild of Docstoc's Jason Nazar, who figured out that businesses licenses and permits are one of the biggest headaches for new businesses. License123 offers its business license information for cities around the country. Garcetti said in a statement announcing the new service that Los Angeles must "must get aggressive and innovative about creating jobs", and that the service will let entrepreneurs know that "L.A. is open for business."
