Morse Micro Sets US HQ, Names Broadcom Vet As COO

Morse Micro, an Australian developer of low power, Wi-Fi integrated circuits, says it has set up a new U.S. headquarters in Irvine, and named longtime Broadcom veteran Vahid Manian as the company's Chief Operating Officer (COO). According to Morse Micro, the company plans to grow its team at its new Irvine headquarter, along with in Sydney Australia. Morse Micro says Manian will let its key sales, marketing, applications, and operation s teams. Morse Micro offers up its Wi-Fi products for the Internet-of-Things (IoT) market. Manian was most recently COO of Ethertronics Corporation, but was one of the founding members of Broadcom's operations organization, and was Vice Chairman of Board of Directors for Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA).
