Triller Expanding To Livestreaming

Los Angeles-based social app developer Triller--which competes directly against TikTok--said late Tuesday that it will start offering up livestreaming features on its app starting next week. According to Triller, the livestreaming feature will launch on October 12th, with new paywall and donation options included to help creators monetize their content. Triller said it promises to make sure 70% of all money raised during its live streams go directly to the artist, and also said it plans to donate $50K each to the first 10 influencers on its platform to hit 1M concurrent livestream viewers. The company says it plans a number of other monetization programs for influencers, as well.
