Veritone Wins $1.3M In Air Force Subcontracts

Costa Mesa-based artificial intelligence software developer Veritone says it has been awarded $1.3M in subcontracts from a U.S. Air Force program, where its software will support an effort to enhance satellite imagery analysis. Veritone said it was awarded the $1.3M for software license and technology development services in support of the Air Force's innovation unit's (AFWERX) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program. The prime contractor on the contract is alYnmnt. The contract is aimed at increasing speed, accuracy, throughput and productivity of imagery analysts by pre-processing intelligence imagery and video with object detection engines, according to Veritone.
