QualityWorks Offers Up Free Bootcamp For BIPOC Community

Los Angeles-based software company QualityWorks said this week that it is offering up a free, bootcamp for people in the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) community, to learn about software testing. According to QualityWorks, it is running a free, six-week Agile Testing Bootcamp aimed at helping individuals with non-technical backgrounds gain high-paying, high-demand technical jobs in software test. The bootcamp specifically is looking to help provide job opportunities to Americans who exist within marginalized communities, particularly African-Americans, according to QualityWorks. The company said individuals interested in applying for the free course must be looking for new career opportunities, must have an interest in the tech space, must be willing to commit to the full 6 weeks of the program, and already must have at least 3-5 years of experience in a professional capacity, with preference will be given to persons of color and persons displaced by Covid-19.
