Report: Fair, Uber Part Ways On Leasing Program

Los Angeles-based car leasing service Fair, and on-demand ride service Uber will no longer work together to connect Uber drivers with Fair's services, according to a report on Thursday. According to Fair, the move came due "to an unexpected increase in insurance premiums" which would have affected its rideshare drivers. Fair says it will wind down its weekly ridesharing service over the next few months. Fair recently has hit some rough road--the company cut half of its staff in October--and it has replaced its CEO and CFO.
