EDF Renewable Energy Puts 154MW Wind Project Online

San Diego-based renewable energy project operator EDF Renewable Energy says it has put a 154 megawatt (MW) project in Oklahoma into commercial operation for consumer products giant Kimberly-Clark Corporation. According to EDF RE, Kimberly-Clark signed an agreement earlier this year to take 120MW of that project, is first, utility-scale use of renewable energy. EDF RE says the Rock Falls project is located in the Kay and Grant Counties in northern Oklahoma. The company had previously announced its deal with Kimberly-Clark.
