Semtech Gets LoRa Win For Pallet Tracking

Camarillo-based analog and mixed-signal semiconductor developer Semtech says that its LoRa low power wireless networking device technology has been adopted by the Pallet Alliance, a developer of systems used for pallet management at multi-site manufacturing and distribution companies. Semtech said that the Pallet Alliance has integrated its devices and the LoRaWan protocol into its IntelliPallet Internet of Things (IoT) pallet monitoring logistics platform. Semtech did not say how the win will affect shipment volumes, nor did it announce any other financial details on the deal.
