ChargeSentry Aims To Fix Merchant Chargebacks

Los Angeles-based ChargeSentry, a new fintech startup looking to help e-commerce merchants stem revenue loss from "chargebacks"--the automatic refunds given by credit card companies when consumers complain of unauthorized charges. According to ChargeSentry, it has developed a chargeback response service which automatically manages chargebacks for e-commerce merchants, aiming to help small and medium-sized merchants, who do not have the resources of large enterprise merchants to handle the issue. The new startup is led by CEO Jack Senon. The company's services cost everywhere from free (handling 1 chargeback a month) to $499.95 a month for 40 chargebacks per month. The company then charges anywhere from $17.50 to $24.95 per additional chargeback, depending on a businesses' plan.
