Inseego Pushes Wireless Devices For Working From Home

San Diego-based Inseego, which develops 5G and Internet-of-Things technology used for asset tracking, connectivity, and similar applications, is again embracing its roots in the mobile hotspot market. The company--which had been trying to desperately trying to sell off its MiFi mobile hotspot business up until 2017, when it aborted a sale of its MiFi division to a Chinese company--says it "invented MiFi mobile hotspot devices", and says it is now providing a portfolio of mobile hotspots, USB modems, routers and phone line hubs which are particularly useful in light of widespread efforts to enable work-from-home, distance learning and telehealth to limit the spread of COVID-19. The company highlighted its various mobile hotspots--available from such providers as Verizon, Sprint, AT&T--which allow users to access the Internet from their 4G, 5G, LTE, and other networks.
