Report: Broadcom Mulling Giant Takeover Of Qualcomm, Worth $100 Billion

In a possible deal that would pull together two of Southern California's semiconductor giants, Broadcom is reportedly putting together a bid to acquire Qualcomm, in a deal worth more than $100 billion. According to a report from Bloomberg--quoting "people familiar with the matter"--Broadcom is planning on offering around $70.00 per share in cash and stock for Qualcomm. Details on the possible deal were not announced.
