Semtech Adds Laird Connectivity To Partner Program

Camarillo-based semiconductor maker Semtech announed today that it has added Laird Connectivity, a developer of wireless modules and antennas, to its partner program, focused on its LoRa wireless technology. According to Semtech, the addition of Laird will help with the creation and deployment of LoRa-based IoT solutions, giving it access to experienced designers that understand its technology and wireless radio frequency technology. Semtech only recently launched its partner program in September. The company's LoRa technology allows for t he embedding of low power, long battery life wireless chips into products, and is being used from everything from logistics tracking to tagging of cattle.
